Ophthalmic Scribe

Aerotek is currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant in the Albany, New York area. Qualified canidates will have:

• Valid and current MA license/certification
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in highly stressful daily situations
• Willingness to travel between local capital district offices as needed
• Medically assist the doctor through the patient examination.
• Scribe and document for the doctor.
• Prepare examination rooms to provide all needed medications, forms, consents and educational materials
• Ability to perform basic screening and patient history documentation
• Ability to communicate all doctor instructions to patients and/or other doctors' offices as directed
• Previous healthcare expereince is strongly preferred
• Willingness to provide assistance to other clinic personnel as needed

This position is a M-F 8:30am-5:30pm shift. Compensation will be dependent on experience.
