Primary Responsibilities: 



Under
direct supervision, works with our internal and external clients, fellow
business systems analysts, and programmer analysts to assess the business needs
and make recommendations.Assists
data analysis to provide recommendations resulting in business process
improvements.Performs
daily, weekly and monthly repeatable tasks to ensure system applications are
processing as expected.Completes
research of issues either identified internally or externally; resolves issues
and/or makes recommendation for resolution.Utilizes
system interfaces, including writing and executing queries, to review business
data, check examples, and/or update data when necessary.Under
direct supervision, prepares business requirements for small scope projects for
use in writing efficient software solutions.Creates
and executes test plans for delivery of quality software solutions.Participates
in discussions and or follow ups related to project reports on status, project
plans, project tasks, activities, and issues. Provides
documentation in accordance with department standards to users and other staff.Develops an
understanding of the products and services offered by all entities within
Helios. Maintains
patient privacy and confidentiality under requirements of federal and state
law, including HIPAA, and in accordance with Helios’ policy.Assumes additional responsibilities and
performs special projects as needed or directed

Requirements

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare or workers’ compensation related field 1+ years of strong Business Process and/or Systems Process experience Ability to create and modify documents in Microsoft Word Ability to sort, filter, import/export data, and use basic formulas in Microsoft Excel Ability to create and modify presentations in Microsoft PowerPointPreferred Qualifications: User Acceptance Testing experience (UAT) Experience with Workman’s Compensation Claims Processing Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodologyExposure to SQLSoft Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, including appropriate administrative
updates; can work on multiple tasks at once without losing track and
foresees and plans around obstacles Strong attention to detail Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own work to achieve objectives.
