Purpose of Role:

The In-Store visual coordinator is responsible for executing and maintaining the visual / merchandise placement standards and marketing as directed by the Corporate Office. This role is primarily focused on maintaining visual/merchandising standards for the store location as well as coordinating window display set up to ensuring that store is Big Bold and Branded and always visually exciting to our Guests

Principal Accountabilities:

DRIVE RESULTS / GUEST SERVICE- ACHIEVE OUR GOALS BY DELIVERING THE MOST FUN RETAIL AND GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Displays a "Guest comes first" attitude by training and holding associates accountable for delivering legendary service
  • Enthusiastically approach all Guests with a Smile and say “Hello�
  • Demonstrates understanding of retail metrics; celebrate success and make suggestions for improvement when necessary
  • Exudes a positive attitude and sustains a contagious energy throughout entire shift

When working Onstage:

  • Provides Guests with a basket to enhance their shopping experience
  • Demonstrates pace with a sense of direction and purpose and actively approaches Guests
  • Asks open ended questions to determine the Guests needs

  • Shares product knowledge including chocolate facts with Guests
  • Directs Guests to other departments / floors throughout the building

PRESENTATION EXCELLENCE- CREATE A VISUALLY EXCITING MERCHANDISE PRESENTATION BY DELIVERING OUR BRAND STANDARD PROMISE

  • Collaborates with Corporate team to create and maintain merchandising standards
  • Executes merchandise plans and displays as communicated by Corporate Visual Manager and buying team
  • Ensures signage program is implemented and maintained to company standards
  • Directs activities of visual support associate(s) or temporary help, as needed
  • Executes visual elements based on seasonal plan/calendar for displays and windows as communicated by the Corporate Visual & Marketing teams
  • Maintains a schedule to ensure all displays and visuals are kept clean and neat
  • Communicates gaps in product assortment to the Planning team so that alternates can be investigated
  • Ensures presentation minimum standards are maintained, and update the Corporate Visual Merchandise Manager of gaps / holes / excess inventory

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE- ENSURING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES WHILE DELIVERING AN EXCITING RETAIL EXPERIENCE

  • Ensures all areas of the store Onstage and Backstage are neat clean, organized, operational and safe
  • Complies with and ensures that all associates follow company policies and procedures
  • In partnership with Store Director ensure that store is in compliance with all employment State and Federal laws, including but not limited to wage and hour and Equal Employment Opportunity
  • Ensures that the store protects company assets thorough awareness of Loss Prevention best practices, including great guest service, associate bag checks, associate purchases, as well as all other compliance to company policies and procedures

Key Experiences:
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast paced, high volume retail operation, with an emphasis on visual merchandising and inventory flow
