JOB DESCRIPTION:
Local healthcare company in the imaging industry seeking qualified Healthcare CSR professionals for a Contract to Hire position. Candidates will be taking inbound customer calls and will need experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Calls will come from both insurance holders and providers regarding insurance coverage, account charges, insurance payments and balances due. Duties will include: answering phones and assisting facilities, payers, and patients with inquiries, and resolving account issues, setting up payment plans when requested by patients, and contacting patients regarding their payment plans when required. Will need to maintain strict confidentiality regarding PHI as well as follow HIPAA regulations at all times.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* HS Diploma or GED Required
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Organizational and interpersonal skills required
* Customer service in a Call Center Environment 6 months - 1 year
* Experience with EOB (Explanation of Benefits)
