Machinist

We are looking to hire for a long term, career oriented machinist in a custom shop. This is for an electrical and mechanical equipment solution provider for numerous industries including chemical processing, mining, agriculture and automobile.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

-Will set up and operate manual equipment including lathes, mills, band saws, press brakes, drill press, and other reduction/cutting equipment for proprietary parts
-Drill and tap holes
-Blueprint reading daily
-Math skills converting factions and decimals
-Measuring daily with tape measurers and other inspection equipment to tolerances of +/- 0.0005
-Operate overhead cranes and hoists to lift parts

Qualifications:

-3+ year machine operation (manual)
-Need basic blueprint reading skills
-Math skills-basic fraction/decimal conversions
-Measuring skills with ruler and tape measurers

Schedule:

2nd or weekend day shift
