As a Business Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive processes and improvement initiatives. By gathering and documenting business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system. Primary Responsibilities:


Gather and document business requirements

Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients

Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience

Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies

Author TSC Level 0 and 1 Knowledge

Liaison with Workgroups to determine FCR opportunities

Partner with other UKS knowledge authors to ensure knowledge consistency

Act as SME / TSC representation on projects with potential knowledge impact

Act as project resource for initiatives involving changes to the UKS application

Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements

Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems

Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysis

Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Translates concepts into practice

Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


2+ years of Information Technology experience

1+ years of IT Helpdesk or desktop support experience

Strong understanding of Help Desk / Call Center processes

Self-motivated

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong desire to work with customers, grow relationships and creatively resolve issues

Strong understanding of UKS knowledge structure

Ability to distill complex solutions into easy to follow instructions

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience

1+ years of experience in business / finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures

Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting

Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and / or process improvement recommendations

1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)

Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally

Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data

HTML Experience

SQL Experience (writing queries / analyzing results)
