SALARY: $45-62K/year DOE
JOB DESCRIPTION: A heavy equipment rental and sales company seeks a field service mechanic to join their team! If you have experience in diesel, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis and repair for heavy equipment we want to hear from you! Primary duties for this position will include diagnosing and repairing construction equipment at jobsites and in the company shop, performing preventative maintenance, assisting with the check in and out of rental equipment, assisting in reviewing safety operations of equipment with customers as needed and additional duties as required. Hours for this position are full time Monday-Friday, overtime may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for the position will meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience working with construction equipment at a mechanic level.
- Must be able to weld and use a cutting torch.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
- Must have strong communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
