Application Engineer

Responsibilities of Application Engineer:

• Assist in business growth by supporting in customer engineering department and sales areas.  
• Responsible of all engineering quality and continuous improvement.  
• Travel with sales  on engineering customer site visits as needed. 
• Communications and presentations on all technical issues, and apply and understand customer requirements,  
• Perform engineering calculations related to products and their applications. Interact cross-functionally with all departmental teams.  

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements for Application Engineer:

• B.S., Mechanical Engineering
• 1-5 years experience and knowledge within mechanical engineering and applications.

• Application Engineering knowledge within various industries including transmission, fluid, electrical, material handling and agricultural.  
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SKYPE,  and experience using mechanical engineering software applications.  i.e., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro E, MeshLab, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to give presentations clearly and concisely to internal and external customers in regards to engineering application requirements.
• Positive attitude and team focused.  
• Must be able to travel as needed up to 30%.
