Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

A growing manufacturer in West Michigan is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform a wide variety of diversified installation, repair maintenance and service operations on all plant machinery, equipment and facilities.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience or training in use of testing equipment.
• Reading, writing and basic shop math.
• Experience in proper use of tools.
• Basic hydraulic and welding.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performs mechanical operations to install, maintain and repair die cast machines, furnaces, compressors, trim presses, machine tools and other equipment.
• Diagnoses and corrects difficulties encountered in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operation of equipment.
• Welds and operates forklift as required.
• Maintains necessary records and reports.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service operations throughout the plant, office and ground areas.
