The Personal Stylist provides advice and gives a high level of customized service to members to drive sales. By giving personalized attention and providing knowledge of products, services, and trends, the personal shopper becomes a trusted consultants for members who want an enhanced buying experience. A Personal Shtylist is responsible for developing lasting relationships with our members, and proactively communicating with them. This position consults with members to suggest updates to their wardrobe and complete outfits that meet their fashion/shopping expectations and will lead to lasting relationships.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Consults with members to provide a high degree of member service; including conversationally greeting members, asking
discovery questions to understand needs and suggesting solutions based on interests and needs
* Consults with members to suggest updates to their wardrobe and complete outfits that meet their fashion/shopping expectations
and will lead to lasting relationships
* Drives sales by utilizing consultative selling practices to identify member needs and provide appropriate solutions; this should
include suggesting wardrobe and outfit options and related items to generate multiple unit sales
* Drives sales and build relationships by utilizing shopping recap and Lead Management tools and other digital devices (facetime,
email) to stay connected with build a client base of
* Stays abreast of current fashion trends. Has a passion for fashion that is exhibited through own style and consultative
converstions/suggestions with members
* Proactively leverages technology in order to facilitate the member experience and understands website navigation and fully
leverages SHC's breadth of online assortment to compliment the members needs
* Becomes a leader in relationship selling. This includes being a member of the community through the SYW store page. Creates a
following of SYW members as well as creating catalogs to showcase what's hot now and benefits of using their service
* Upholds a high level of customer service that exceeds expectations
* Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Basic reading, arithmetic, writing and oral communication skills
* Basic internet navigation
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Sales or customer service experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with and listen attentively to members and fellow associates
* Goal orientated and self-motivator
* Previous experience in apparel retail
* Skilled in website navigation, interest and working knowledge of digital devices and networking
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-2 years of related experience
* 18 years of age or older
