Allied Lube, a Jiffy Lube Franchise, is looking for Assistant Store Managers. Good candidates for this position will have a background in sales and/or customer service and are great at dealing with people.  One year of retail/hospitality management experience is required for this position.  Previous automotive experience is a plus.  Every Assistant Manager will receive comprehensive training through our award winning Jiffy Lube® University computer based training as well as hands on training.  We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as paid time off and bonus programs.

Job Responsibilities

The primary function of the Assistant Store Manager position is to provide an excellent experience for our customers and oversee the operations of the store.  They work hands on to assist the General Manager in the daily operations of their location and are responsible for customer interaction, training, directing, and coaching employees in all areas of operations.  In addition they are in charge of bank deposits as well as inventory and cash control in the General Managers absence.  This position is essential to our overall guest experience and the Assistant Store Manager is expected to meet company goals by providing clear direction and setting a positive example for attitude, professionalism, and work ethic.  Some of the key duties of this position will include:

  • Directing the staff and ensuring that all procedures are completed properly.
  • Coaching employees.
  • Interacting with customers and resolving any issues.
  • Opening/Closing the location.
  • Completing required documentation as needed.
  • Achieving assigned sales goals.
  • Maintaining facility appearance.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work weekends, to include Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Must have own, reliable transportation
  • Strong data entry computer skills preferred
  • Experience and comfort with full-cycle customer service (greeting, service, resolving disputes, etc)
  • Able to stand and walk up to 4 hours without a break
  • Able to work in extreme heat and/or cold
  • Able to endure repetitive and prolonged bending and reaching
  • Able to withstand exposure to fumes and cleaning products
  • Previous management experience preferred but not necessary
