DESCRIPTION
The Restaurant Manager responds to the General Manager and is responsible for:
-All front-of-the-house (FOH) functions during his or her opening, mid or closing shift.
-Responsible for guest relations, supervision of all FOH staff.
-Maintaining proper restaurant ambiance, housekeeping and set-up, food and beverage quality, safety, and pace.
-Ensuring the shift is run in a smooth manner and attending to any unexpected challenges or emergencies that may arise.
-A disciplined approach to cost/profit (i.e.. Scheduling per revenue).
-Team Work - bring employees together and motivate them to provide an excellent customer experience, every time.
-Be proactive in reaching our Company goals in sales, service, appearance; while creating a positive, fun and productive working environment.
-Ensure policies and procedures are upheld at all times.
-Cash control in compliance with company policy.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-3-5 years in a high volume, full service restaurant.
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
-Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel.
-Reliable, dependable and motivated.
-Able to work 10 hour shifts with extensive standing/walking.
-Must provide references.
