The Chemistry and Urinalysis Manager will join a 625-bed nonprofit acute care hospital that provides comprehensive and progressive patient care in multiple specialties. The Laboratory Chemistry Manager will provide oversight and leadership in collaboration with the Director to maintain the vision of Laboratory Services at the hospital. The Lab Manager will serve as the technical and administrative resource for Chemistry and Urinalysis. The Chemistry Lab Manager will maintain competency and proficiency in Chemistry and Urinalysis operations including test performance, results reporting and troubleshooting. Additional responsibilities of the Lab Manager include the day to day operations of Chemistry and Urinalysis. This is a very stable department where employee retention is not an issue. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in a hospital-based Chemistry Lab.
