An opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse ready to step into leadership is available in Maryland.

This ED sees nearly 100,000 pediatric and adult patients annually with high acuity resulting in a high admission rate. The hospital is seeking a go-getter to fill this Assistant Manager of ED position. An RN working in an Assistant Manager, Coordinator, Charge, or Supervisor role is the perfect candidate. This Emergency Room Nurse must have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the practice of nursing forward. Whether this is by continuing their education, participating in quality improvement committees, or serving as a preceptor.

The ANM will work with management to facilitate, mentor, and evaluate staff to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. In addition, the Assistant Nurse Manager will continuously assess unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with the CNM, other departments clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients in a timely manner.
