Clinical Coordinator Cardiac Care Unit - Full-time

The Assistant Nurse Manager for Critical Care will work in a 15-bed Cardiothoracic ICU. This hospital has an established, but growing, Open Heart Program and this unit sees only Open Heart Patients. The unit is divided, with half of the beds deemed ICU beds and the other half step-down beds.

The Assistant Manager of Cardiac Step Down will help to ensure the overall clinical and operational success of this fast-paced unit. Supervision, management and support of nursing staff, administrative activities, operational oversight of the shift and working to improve quality of care are a few examples of the scope of this position.

The Progressive Care Assistant Nurse Manager will be an important part of the leadership team, with opportunity to work on committees, participate in hospital research activities and work on quality improvement projects with a team of other Nursing Leaders.
