A midsize, non-profit medical center in Southern New Hampshire has an immediate need for an experienced and knowledgeable coder to join their dedicated HIM team.

The Health Information Management (HIM) Coding Coordinator will work with the outpatient coding team, providing expert guidance and education to the coding department. The HIM Coordinator will be an integral part of the HIM leadership team and will be relied upon to support staff, manage the daily activities of the department and enhance the revenue cycle.

The Outpatient Coding Educator will also oversee quality initiatives and projects, which may include tracking quality metrics, developing and implementing educational and training materials, auditing and checking workflow and accuracy of outpatient coder work product and identifying potential areas of improvement in coding and clinical documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a Certified Coder with experience with DRG reimbursement methodology, documentation data sets and standards and Clinical Documentation Improvement.
