The Perioperative Clinical Nurse Manager will join a progressive Medical Center that has been named one of the Top Hospitals in the New York region. This prestigious medical center performs over 20,000 surgeries per year and consists of 45 Operating Rooms.

The Cardiothoracic CNOR Manager will report to the Clinical Nurse Director of Surgical Services and oversee a team of 30 Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Med Techs. Working within a Shared Governance Model, the Surgical Services Nursing Manager will be responsible for the following functions:

• Financial management
• Staff management
• Day-to-day department operations
• Program development of Cardiac Surgical Services.

The Surgery Nurse Manager is responsible for improving HCAHPS, patient, employee, and physician satisfaction scores. The OR Cardiac Nursing Manager will be accountable as a front-line supervisor to ensure all nursing staff is following the National Patient Safety Goals, Core Measure Initiatives and practice standards. This busy Operating Room Service line includes valve replacement, Transplant, ECMO and VATS.
