Obstetrics and Women's Services Nursing Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

A unique opportunity is now available for a Nurse Supervisor of Obstetrics to join a community hospital in Northern California.

The Nurse Supervisor of Obstetrics will work directly with the Obstetrics Nurse Manager and will assist in the supervision of the day-to-day clinical functions of the Obstetrics Department. The Obstetrics Nursing Supervisor will work closely with the OB Nurse Manager, and will foster a collaborative and professional relationship with the Nurse Manager in order to ensure complete and comprehensive care is provided to each patient. The Nursing Supervisor of Women’s Services will be able to demonstrate their clinical expertise in the Obstetrics Unit, and will exemplify the hospital’s core values in all aspects of their work.

Furthermore, this positions offers the Obstetrics Nurse Supervisor a rare opportunity to gain exposure in a variety of departments. In addition to their responsibilities in the Women’s Services Department, the Nurse Supervisor will be asked to assume both floor-work and leadership responsibilities in the Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Departments. This allows the Obstetrics, Med Surg and Telemetry Nurse Supervisor the opportunity to demonstrate their flexibility and expand their range of clinical experience.
