PrideStaff is currently seeking responsible, motivated, and diligent Quality Auditors for a client located in the Joliet area. We are seeking individuals who strive for advancement and excellence in their work, and that are looking for a challenging position in a manufacturing/quality field.
These positions are 1st shift - 7am to 3:30pm - with a starting pay rate of $13-$14/hour depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Auditor inspects parts being received by the customer, using proper inspection techniques and equipment. This task is also performed accurately, efficiently, and in a professional manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Auditor inspects parts being received by the customer, using proper inspection techniques and equipment. This task is also performed accurately, efficiently, and in a professional manner.
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints & other engineering drawings
- Must be able to use and properly identify precision measuring tools, equipment, and gages
- Must have excellent math skills, including knowledge of fractions, decimals, geometry, etc.- *will be required to pass a comprehensive written exam prior to hire
- Must be computer-literate and have proficiency using computer software programs
- Inspect or perform audits on incoming material, using measuring and gaging tools as well as visual techniques in determining conformance to engineering specifications
- Determine the methods and processes needed to measure part conformance according to the allowed dimensional tolerances and normal gaging practices
- Document and report non-conformances to specifications using computerized quality documentation system
- Prioritize the order of short-quantity loads, and manage first in, first out (FIFO) flow of received goods
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- 2 or 4-year technical degree PREFERRED
- Previous work experience in a quality background PREFERRED
