Accounting/Inventory position currently available in Sanford, ME.
We are currently looking for someone to join our team. This position will assist with the management and control of inventory of all manufactured and retail products, production materials and supplies. Performs physical inventory and cycle counts, reviews electronic inventory database for discrepancies and takes corrective actions and/or recommends adjustments. Assists Controller with accounting tasks and trains Sales Associates and Plant Supervisors with accounting and inventory software system(s).
Pay rate will depend on experience around $15.00/hour.
80% of your time will be working out of our Sanford location.

Ideal candidates will have these Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducts physical inventory counts at all company locations
- Inputs or updates inventory counts in electronic inventory database/UAS software
- Performs cycle counts as needed at all company locations
- Reviews inventory transactions and adjustments on a continuous basis to reconcile with daily production and/or sales.
- Investigates (interrogates) inventory database system, identifies discrepencies, makes corrections and recommends adjustments
- Assist/works directly with Plant Supervisors on daily production reporting
- Assists in the training of new and incumbent employees with the accounting and inventory software systems, policies and procedures
- Prepares and maintains inventory related files within the Docstar system
- Assist Controller with warehouse transfers between retail store locations
- Assist retail stores in identifying and tracking scrap materials
- Assist the Controller with other Accounting tasks such as:
- Collection Calls
- Receivable Postings
- Production Reporting to Management
- Sales Department Reporting
- Annual Price Book Preparation
