Entry Level Pharmacy Technician

Hiring 40 Pharmacy Technicians (Trainee and Certified) for the month of January.��

Position #1

• The technician will link prescriptions to current patients and register new patients when necessary.
• The technician will also complete data entry by interpreting prescriptions and following standard operating procedures that provide guidelines on how to complete the process properly.
• Process new patient registrations by entering data into the computer system
• Handle correspondence to patients
• Enter refill orders into Promise for processing
• Handle patient prescription profile requests within HIPAA guidelines.

Position #2

• The technician will resolve Third Party Rejects, System Exceptions and Manual Exceptions based on a first in first out basis.
• The technician will communicate with patients, prescribers and third party plans to resolve exceptions as needed.
• Resolve Exceptions/Issues in a timely manner.
• Release exceptions from PROMISE system.
• Work with client systems to access on-line eligibility.
• Identifies and communicates issues to the Group Supervisor and/or Call Center Pharmacists.
• Telephone communication with Plans, Processors, Patients, etc.
• Other duties as needed such as assisting with Order Entry, Registration, and, and Outbound Call Center.
• Calls are about 3-5 minutes each with prescribers and patients. Approx 15-18 calls per hour.

Other Information:

• Must become a Certified Pharmacy Technician within two years of being a licensed trainee.
• Company will reimburse for all license/certification renewal and PTCB
• Position #1 starting is $13.25/hour for entry level. If more qualified, there may be room to get more money per hour, or be bumped to next open position #2 at $14.50-$15.50
• Most openings are 40 hours per week
• Shifts are 7am-3:30pm with 10% of workforce needing to work Saturday
