Job Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual will be staging, loading and unloading areas with products and materials.
They will need to prepare, package, and deliver outgoing shipments.
They will be responsible for communicating with the suppliers, drivers, and staff. They will need to receive, inspect, and make sure documents and paperwork are accurate for all shipments.
Need to have knowledge of Bill of ladings, freight, quotes, order pickups, packing slips, at least 1-2 years of warehouse experience in this capacity.
This is mostly an office job but needs to have warehouse experience as well, both are must haves.
Work Environment:
ENVIRONMENT:
This is in the building next to their warehouse facility and is more of an office environment.
Depending on shipments, there are trucks coming in throughout the day to deliver and receive shipments. This is an office job, with their own computer and desk, but will have to walk into the warehouse periodically to check on an item number or verify a product every now and then, not too often. They will spend 95 percent in an office, 5 percent in the shipping dock.

HOURS:
Schedule will be 730am 4pm , M-F, and since it's peak season they need to be comfortable working at least 2-3 Saturdays a month.
Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving or freight, BOL, quotes, order pickups, packing slips, shipping labels.
Strong computer skills, Office and Excel is a must. (Excel templates include formatting reports, basic formulas and calculations, basic conversions, no pivot table experience needed)
Math skills to be able to convert gallons into pounds and other measurements
Need strong communication skills because this person will be in front of customers, suppliers, drivers, and upper management.
Customer service is a must (this individual will be communicating with truck drivers, dispatchers, and internally answering the phones and talking to other people.)
--Absolute must is having logistics and shipping experience, accuracy and attention to detail.

SAP and NAFTA documentation experience is a plus!
