Welder - Full-time / Part-time

The Welders are responsible for layout, positioning, alignment, and fitting of components into weld fixtures. They will be welding a variety of parts including coupler systems and attachment tools as well as custom parts for carriers from small compact tool carriers to large excavators, wheel loaders, tractors and truck chassis.

100% of the time will be MIG gas metal arc welding:
- Set-up gas-shield mig-welder
- Work off basic blueprints and weld symbols to complete job assignment
- Set the temperature of the weld gun based on the work order and parts that need to be welded
- Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job tasks
- Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment
- Pull parts to weld based on the work order route
- Measure parts with a tape pre and post welding to determine quality
- Use an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch
- Choose appropriate MIG weld size wire based on the work order
- Change MIG weld wires

They will be doing various welding on steel - different thickness ranging from 1/4i to 1/2 in, over lapping parts, round parts, and fabrication (using drills and saws).
