Product Development Engineer -

The Product Development Engineer will lead a cross-functional APQP team in developing cooling systems for Automotive OE customers.

They will be handling 2-3 customers and working with products such as fuel caps, valves, and closure devices for the Automotive Industry.

They will also:

• Handle the customer contact
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Provide hands on assistance in prototype builds and testing,
• Track the project to successful and timely product launch
• Help resolve production start-up issues
• Coordinate with the sales staff in Troy, MI

Qualifications:

• 2-5 yrs of Automotive and Product Development Engineering (Cradle to Grave) experience.
• 2-5 yrs knowledge and experience with FMEA/DFMEA and APQPs
• 3-5 yrs knowledge and experience with CAD (preferably CATIA or UG)
• 3-5 yrs. Project Management experience (handling 3-5 projects at a time)

Shift:

Mon.-Fri. 7:30am - 4:30pm
