About this job
PRODUCE CLERKS provide polite friendly service to all customers, and prepare produce for display on the sales floor. Produce clerks stock, price, and rotate product, build produce displays, maintain freshness and quality of produce products, assist with product delivery unloading, and maintain sanitation standards throughout the department. Other duties include product preparation, product weighing, communication of customer requests to management, and other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS-
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly
• Ability to read and understand information and direction
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
