I am currently hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on Heavy Weldments, Process Improvement, and Routings
Job Descripiton:
This position is responsible for creating, reviewing and updating manufacturing engineering routings.
The Manufacturing Engineer is concerned with the way the part is processed and ensures good quality within the weld process.
The candidate will review the drawings, read the drawings and look for any incomplete information or unclear information, and break the component down into modules.
Caterpillar has a lot of broad, undefined routings and the Engineer will create the process for the order of which you weld and assemble.
