doing your life's best work.(sm) The Audit Intake Specialist provides
guidance, support, and oversight to his/her designated facilities to
ensure effective management and timely response to all government and
applicable payer audits.The Audit Intake Specialist has primary accountability
for performing the following core activities to support revenue services
goals and objectives: (Note: This is a summary of your primary
accountabilities and is not intended to be all-inclusive.) Primary Responsibilities: Create, track and upload all government and commercial audits correctly in the audit tracking tool.Review and manage all correspondence from the auditing bodies.Responsible for uploading all audit documentation into tracking tool.Responsible for working directly with sites to respond and resolve any audit response issues.Track and provide oversight of vendors and sites to assure timely submission of required documents is achieved. Maintains
database integrity. Escalates concerns to Audit Intake Supervisor and
provides feedback to the Audit Tracking Coordinator follow up activity.Collaborate with Clinical Educators on new information regarding all audit activity.Collaborate with the Audit Intake Supervisor to discuss any education needs for users.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements: High School Diploma or GEDAbility to travel during the beginning of employment for training. Traveling will be within the US. 3+ years of experience working with hospitals and operations/clinical/ finance.Experience navigating the web and maneuvering through multiple portalsProficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create and edit documents, and build reports, presentations and spreadsheets.Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of the Audit Response process and audit intake requirements preferredKnowledge and familiarity of government and commercial audits/ methodologies preferredMedicare and Medicaid experience preferredSoft Skills:Detail oriented and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsShould be able to collaborate with othersDemonstrates professionalism, and organizationAble to work independently in a fast pace environment.
