The Associate Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing the recruitment strategy and execution within assigned business unit/s. In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partner, Human Capital Partner/s and business leader/s is responsible for ensuring successful business outcomes are met through the delivery of recruitment service. This recruitment leadership position is accountable for the success of an assigned business unit/s and UHG's Talent Acquisition teams by developing partnerships and enabling functional recruitment teams (internal and RPO) with regard to branding, sourcing and assessment strategies, offer negotiation, and overall candidate and hiring manager experience. This position will leverage core assets from within the broader Talent Acquisition matrix organization as well as the strategic and tactical insights from workforce planning, human capital, and staff forecasting teams. 
 
The Associate Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in the management of large scale recruitment projects, representing the function of Talent Acquisition (TA) in business initiatives and projects as well as representing the assigned business when participating in broader enterprise TA initiatives. This position will also act as a strategic coach to recruitment functional teams with regard to aiding in the development of business acumen as well as to business leaders in translating talent strategy into core recruitment process. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Actively be present and visible to business leaders of assigned business unit by attending key business/human capital meetings providing recruitment consultation where subject matter expertise is required; act as primary point of contact for HCPs and business leadership
Partner with TAP's, Sr. Functional Directors, HCP's, and business leaders in the development of annual/quarterly forecasted functional plans, including quantifying business need for internal and external talent pipelining and opportunistic/top grading hiring initiatives within mission critical talent pools across the business unit- as needed
Participate in the development of strategic objectives including setting priorities based on business outcomes and anticipated business plan needs, translate this to the functional recruitment teams
Maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the business unit; monitor hiring progress against goals and participate in troubleshooting stalled and challenging requisitions
Lead the quarterly close process, including delivery of business reviews to the business unit and appropriate divisions; provide analysis and feedback pertaining to metrics, recruitment trends, issue/root cause detection, and project prioritization based on business recruitment results
Participate in the development of recruitment best practices, trending and ROI related to:  sourcing; marketing; passive and active candidate (and Alumni) relationship management strategies; assessment tools and protocol; college and diversity recruitment; candidate close/conversion; business leader experience and hiring outcomes; educate the business on strategic sourcing plans and other critical Talent Acquisition key initiatives
Translate business unit goals and priorities to Talent Acquisition team members; act as a champion by developing mechanisms to in part business acumen which result in closer partnerships and stronger recruitment outcomes as a result of the deeper knowledge of the business unit
Actively manage and execute upon key stakeholder management plan; communicate to all impacted stakeholders regarding the delivery of service, metrics, trends, and project action items; maintain and execute against communication plans

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


7+ years of recruitment experience

Must have knowledge of best-in-class recruiting techniques, models and processes

Highly consultative with the ability to quickly translate business needs into recruiting strategies and tactics

Strong system/process orientation and analytical skills

Ability to plan and reason at a conceptual and operational level

Strong organizational, project and process management skills

Must be well versed in employment law practices related to recruitment processes

Ability to work with Human Capital Partners and Business Partners to develop strong business partnerships and relationships

Knowledge of AAP compliance as well as proven ability to influence diverse and creative sourcing channels

Strong knowledge of corporate recruitment
 
Preferred Qualifications:


BS/ BA degree in Business, Human Resources or related field

3+ years of prior supervisory or project management experience in recruitment

2+ years of vendor/partner management experience

PHR, SPHR, CPC certifications

Must be willing to Travel - up to 25%
