The Operator is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance tasks on  various types of machinery in our Liquids, Plastics or Fabric Softener Sheets areas.  The Operator safely performs routine operations including start-up, shutdown, demonstration of control panel procedures, troubleshoots machine operation to ensure efficient operation, performs basic routine maintenance procedures and monitors and ensures quality of all products.

Work Shift:

This position is a night shift position that works the same shift pattern on night shift from 5:45pm – 6:00am with rotating days of the week.  The shift pattern is known as a “2 2 3” rotation that provides every other weekend off. (Example:  Mon & Tue work; Wed & Thu off; Fri Sat Sun work; Mon & Tue off; Wed & Thu work; Fri Sat Sun off).   Some overtime may be available based on business needs.  

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Operation of various types of machinery and equipment for purpose of production of laundry and or dish detergent products such as:    Automatic Descrambler, Automatic Capper, Sorter and Accessories, Foil Seal Machine, Automatic Handle Applicator, Rotary and Heat Transfer Labeler, Software Program, Automatic Drop Casepacker, Automatic Case Sealer, Automatic Palletizer, Case Erector, Nordson Glue Systems, Marsh Case Coding System, Container  Coding System and Full Case Check Weigher.
  • Operation of the conveying systems used to transport empty bottles, full bottles, empty cases and full cases to include the TKF Vertical Conveyors.
  • Use Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain hygienic security on the line, within area and facility.
  • Know quality standards and perform and document quality checks.
  • Perform required steps to complete size and product changeovers.
  • Clean up work area and help others clean their areas if needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must have 1 year of consistent work history to be considered.
