Administrative / Accounting Assistant (Experienced)

Our client located in No. Versailles is in need of a full time, experienced administrative assistant with accounting knowledge. Candidates with backgrounds in engineering, architectural, interior design and/or construction would be a plus.   A minimum of 5 years recent office experience is strongly desired; coupled with the following skills and competencies:

  • at least intermediate level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook);    
  • knowledge / experience with construction accounting such as “Foundations Construction Accounting” would be a plus;      
  • basic knowledge of accounting principles/procedures, mathematics, spreadsheets;                                                                                            
  • the ability to properly compose business correspondence;
  • excellent /professional communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and client service skills;
  • detail orientated, dependable, proactive, team oriented.

Primary duties include but may not be limited to: performing administrative /office support duties directed by multiple management personnel; taking, directing, and responding to telephone calls; interacting with clients and visitors; word processing, creating spreadsheets; creating PowerPoint presentations; filing; creating / generating standard and ad-hoc reports.
