Summary:

The system analyst II is responsible for the management and support of all E H R products, Allscripts PM, and other related applications that the clinics and other staff utilize. The Administrator/Team is part of the Allscripts Team, which work together to provide the best product to the end-users and develop standards and policies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA rules and regulations. The system analyst also works closely with the Training Department, Medical Directors, and other IT staff members to provide an efficient product to the users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide daily support via tickets and phone calls for all end users regarding E H R, PM, LiveScan, and any other issue brought up.

* Perform audits of the products to establish that end users have the correct and least necessary access needed.

* Analyze the back-end setup of the system to ensure that setup meets the needs of the organization.

* Assists on hardware and application evaluations, architecture, and maintains relationships with internal customers and external vendors.

* Have working knowledge of SSMT and CMT, understand loading and extracting data.

* Perform back-end system tasks in E H R including user setup, note design, dictionary maintenance, task and worklist creation and upkeep, etc.

* Perform back-end system tasks in PM system including creating schedule templates, assigning users correct roles and site designations, and any other necessary build needs

* Maintains the lab interface.

* Collaborate with Training and Development to produce and test clinical workflows in the system.

* Escalate issues to Allscripts and work with their employees to get a speedy and reasonable solution to problems in the system.

* Report daily to the Clinical Director to discuss any pressing issues within the applications and to take on any projects at hand.

* Organize workload amongst team members to cater to the strengths of the team but also to get done work is an efficient manner as possible.

* Train other team members on technicalities in the systems, new workflows, changes made in the system, and other items that can value the team as a whole.

* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

* Expert knowledge of the Allscripts products and tie-in applications such as ConnectR and SSMT

* Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment that will need quick thinking and prioritizing of issues at hand

Education/Experience/Certification:

Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 5 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Provides ongoing analysis, maintenance, technical and functional support for application systems throughout the organization, which may include on-call support per procedures.

* Provides input and guidance to identify system deficiencies and analyze system problems and solutions.

* Develops and maintains system documentation. Leads and/or assists with development of user manuals, training materials and procedures. Designs and creates testing scripts and acceptance criteria. Performs and/or coordinates system testing, unit testing and integrated testing.

* Responsible for, monitors and maintains application side of the interface in conjunction with other resources. Understands application architecture, databases or system design. Monitors, executes and delivers successful projects as assigned.

* Assists with preparation of team, user, client and vendor meeting communications.

* Strives to develop knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.

* Facilitates team interaction.
