Clinical Coordinator-ER-FT - Full-time / Part-time

Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff. Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Oversees the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within a hospital. Assist with covering and/or finding coverage for employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow using techniques to improve throughput of patients through the system. Ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Mentor's staff. Performs daily safety huddle during assigned shift. Will float throughout the department and will assume care of patients when the demand requires. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the ER Director. Required upon hire: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS. ADN with 2 years ER Experience. Preferred: BSN with 5 years ER experience We are currently offering up to $15,000 sign on bonus. Graduate of a school of nursing with a current Georgia nursing license. BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
