Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - House Supervisor (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.

Portland is just a pleasant 90-minute drive, offering big-city shopping, dining, arts and entertainment.

This small coastal community, population 6,500, is nationally known for its magnificent seascapes, lush forests, and sunny, moderate summer climate. Recreational opportunities abound, including beachcombing, whale watching, surfing, hunting and fishing, hiking and a variety of festivals.

In this position, you will:

* Be accountable for the provision and quality of nursing services at the facility level for a defined shift, in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals.

* Be responsible assuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.

* Perform with a constant focus on patient-centeredness, and staff and patient safety, while supporting standards and systems for care delivery for your facility.

* Work with systems that promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.

* Provide leadership that consistently supports efficient and effective patient care services, and that support the organizational and system goals, which includes advancing the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.

* Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Nursing degree/diploma upon hire

* Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) or higher required within three (3) years or20 years of RN experience.

* Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

* 6 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master's degree in related field

* ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications strongly desired
