We are seeking a Cook for upscale Local Table restaurant, located in our Clubhouse, to enhance our guests' dining experience by preparing & seasoning, meats, and other items on our menu.
Responsibilities include:
- Reading menu to estimate food requirements.

Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of grills and steam wells.
Measures and mixes ingredients accurately according to recipe and personal judgment to prepare sauces and marinades.
Grills meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods to order.
Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking.
Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and using thermometer. Using Servsafe guidelines to determine that it is cooked.
Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds gravies and sauces, and garnishes servings to fill orders.
Washes, peels, cuts, and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use.
Cuts, trims, and bones meat and fish prior to cooking.
Creates "specials" and assists with menu and recipe development.
Maintains cleaning schedule and keeps work area clean and sanitary.
Moves quickly to ensure prompt service.
May train other kitchen team members.
Seeks out new information and innovative ideas and techniques.
Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will enjoy continual contact with Residents. Will also be
familiar with proper grilling techniques and doneness testing. Cooking experience and/or culinary training is required.
