Front Gate & Ticketing Supervisor – Hersheypark

Job Description:

This part-time position is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional customer service, following proper uniform standards, maintaining cleanliness of your work environment, and gaining knowledge of specific job duties.

Job Functions:

Front Gate and Ticketing Supervisor may be required to do one or all of the following tasks depending on the assigned area. Other job duties may be assigned based on operational need

• Resolve guest and employee opportunities in a professional and timely manner
• Train, coach, and develop part-time team members in the admissions area of the department including assisting in seasonal evaluations
• Serve as a resource for employees
• Work on computer based ticket system
• Enter group orders in the computer, process payment for transient and group orders, print tickets, reprint on-line ticket orders, and print receipts
• Process returns and exchanges of various tickets and inventory items
• Sell and track inventory items and select VIP programs at Ticket Sales or Hospitality Services locations
• Responsible for guest admission and exit at Park main gates
• Effectively communicate and work within the Guest Services department and other departments to ensure the best possible experience for our guests
• Handle clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, and filling out paperwork
• Reconcile daily cash and ticket bags
• Track and administer employee attendance and disciplinary infractions
• Enforce Child Labor Laws
• Enforce department and company policies
• Learn operational standards for the Guest Services & Ticketing Department

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age

Additional Qualifications:

• Proven guest relations, problem-solving, task management skills and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to handle cash with a high degree of accuracy
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
• Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at locations both indoor and outdoor in a variety of weather situations
• Must be able to work a minimum of five (5) shifts per week throughout the summer season to include rotation of mornings and evenings
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week May-August
• Physical requirements include standing (75-100% of shift), sitting, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs, finger dexterity, and communicating verbally and in writing.
