Sheetz Seasonal Team Member and Driver Assistant -- Summer Opportunities
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Sheetz Distribution Services is looking for seasonal help to prepare for the increase in store orders! Successful candidates will work from approximately the end of May until the end of August. We are looking for candidates to commit to working for a 9-12 week period during the summer.Work entails selecting partial and full case products and supporting the team as needed. Sheetz Distribution operates 7 days per week, including holidays. Work schedules are based on a 4 day work week, with an average of 10 hours per day; however, business needs and/or weather events may require occasional adjustments to start times and longer days could be necessary due to production needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)
Positions in the Warehouse include selecting partial and full case products and supporting the team as needed. Complete various logs such as production, equipment inspections, master cleaning schedules, etc. with accuracy. Handle inventory in a manner to avoid damages.Positions in the Sheetz Brothers Kitchen include performing various bakery production duties to contribute to the production of quality bakery items. Prepare, assemble and package Ready-To-Eat items to be shipped to stores. Select and put away product, and unload trucks to meet daily production and shipping needs. Positions as a Driver Assistant include riding along with our delivery drivers, assisting in unloading trucks at the stores, able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. This position will require travel between the six states we operate in and the routes typically leave mid afternoon and return the following morning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age to be considered
Education
High School Diploma/GED preferred
