Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic position, in Groveland, FL. Performs maintenance duties as assigned. The duties listed under work performed are not all inclusive and are only intended to indicate what may be expected. Maintains a safe working environment according to company policy at all times. Performs repair and maintenance on parts of equipment and machines including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
May maintain records of jobs performed in order to develop a history of repairs so that preventative maintenance can be performed.
May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment.
Assists workers in diagnosing malfuntions in machinery and equipment.
Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe.
Inspects and adjusts equipment.
o Education: High school or G.E.D. Required.
o Experience: Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience helpful.
o Knowledge: Of maintenance procedures, of safety procedures, or loading and order picking procedures.
Skills and Abilities:
o Ability to lift 100 pounds.
o Ability to climb platforms, ladders to make repairs.
o Ability to ready numbers and product descriptions.
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
o Ability to maintain written records.
o Ability to push buttons, monitor controls.
o Ability to lead and direct associates.
o May be required to have own basic set of tools.
Qualified candidate will have 5 plus years of maintenance experience and will pay for the experience. DOE, starting pay would be around $20.00 per hour, if more experience the pay could go higher. The qualified candidate will train for a few months on first shift and will go to second toward the end of this season or beginning of next.
