Group Ride Leaders are responsible for leading and guiding road and mountain bike rides. Group Ride Leaders are responsible for properly explaining and demonstrating techniques assess riders’ technical proficiency, and offering modifications. Group Ride Leaders are responsible for maintaining outstanding guest service per company standards, generating sales, and safeguarding company assets. 

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

• Plan ride itineraries and routes by applying knowledge of travel routes and destinations sites
• Fix various bike problems that may arise while on rides
• Serves guests by establishing rapport, building guest confidence, providing accurate information, and promoting products available for purchase within store
• Answer all questions, providing detailed information, and establishing trust with the guests
• Follow all company standards in regards to paperwork and loss prevention
• Assist within store, when needed, for sales and events

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Previous retail sales and guest service experience
• Passion for cycling
• Maintain a working knowledge of travel routes and destinations
• Commitment to providing excellent guest service
• Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English 
• Basic computer skills 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
