Description

Citizens Bank is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to join its Auto Finance Team within its Consumer Credit Risk Department to help manage and optimize Citizens' $13 billion retail Auto Credit Portfolio.  This role reports to the Auto Credit Risk Director where primary responsibilities include:
  • Credit risk reporting and monitoring
  • Recommending credit policy changes that help improve risk-adjusted returns
  • Loss model and credit scorecard monitoring
  • Assisting in loss forecasting 
  • Assessing automated decisioning performance 
  • Assisting in tactical and strategic initiatives such as securitizations and portfolio purchases/sales
  • Some credit risk data management
  • Helping ensure a sound credit risk control environment


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • 4 years banking or business experience
  • 2 years experience in a quantitative role
  • Strong SAS skills with at least 2 years proven abilities in data analytics
  • Strong analytical and pproblem solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Sound data management expertise
  • Sound communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed, environment
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Consumer credit risk management experience
  • Experience with statistical analyses (regression analysis, decision tree)

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics 
  • Masters degree in above field preferred, but not required


Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40 

Work Schedule:  9 AM to 5 pm
