Summary Description:
This Position is a short-term, hourly, non-bargaining unit position for the summer only, anticipated to begin June 15, 2017, and last until approximately August 31, 2017. This position may be shortened or extended with little to no notice. This position is open until filled or withdrawn. You will be contacted should the hiring department/division be interested in scheduling an interview with you to discuss your qualifications and skills. Under the supervision of the Saddleback College Director of
Community Education and Recreation Leaders (College for Kids) to assist the Saddleback College for Kids staff in providing a quality learning experience and safe environment to the participants, parents, staff, and visitors to the program. To assist in providing supervision and activities to program participants.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists children in locating their classes on campus.
• Escorts children moving to and from the classroom buildings and the athletic facilities.
• Provides a service to parents who need assistance in locating their child’s room or teacher.
• Follows all Saddleback College policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
• Administers first aid and artificial respiration as necessary.
• Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
• Represents Saddleback College Summer College for Kids Program in a positive, professional manner to the community.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
