Assistant RN Director, Behavioral Health - Full-time / Part-time

A leadership opportunity for a RN Psychiatric Manager of Nursing is currently available within the Boston Metropolitan area. Located minutes from the city, the community features an abundance of green space and convenient travel access throughout the entire Boston region.

This Behavioral Health Nursing Assistant Director will oversee a psychiatric facility that specializes in mental health treatment, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. This large, privately owned entity features a vast network of crisis services and operates numerous behavioral health facilities throughout the Boston area. Supported by Nursing Supervisors, the Director of Psychiatric Nursing will oversee the daily operations within the Nursing department and ensure that State of Massachusetts and Federal guidelines are adhered within the facility.

The Mental Health RN Manager will ensure that quality care is delivered to psychiatric patients and that RN staff is allocated based on patient volume. The Assistant RN Director Behavioral Health will report to the Director of Nursing and will be involved in budget development and implementation. The RN Psychiatric Assistant Director will also assess continuing education needs for RN staff and develop staff training programs. Additional responsibilities will include staff scheduling, hiring and onboarding.
