A well regarded and growing healthcare system in Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated and proven Nurse Manager Emergency Room to join their leadership team.
This position is located in one of their hospitals known in the area for providing friendly and compassionate care. They offer a robust roster of services including a cancer care, behavioral health, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, rehabilitation and women’s services. This non-profit, community-based hospital is also very well regarded for their Cardiac Program, having recently been named one of the Truven Top 100 Cardiovascular Hospitals in the country.
The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Room will oversee the daily operations of a busy ER that averages fifteen to twenty thousand visits per year. The Emergency Room has been newly renovated and is poised to grow in volume over the next few years. Currently the ER has 20 bays, with an additional 3 fast track areas and 5 rooms for observation.
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will report to a Director of Emergency Services and will oversee the ER staff, including hiring and counseling, have budgetary oversight and develop and implement initiatives to improve and maintain patient quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN with leadership experience who can oversee and guide the unit, tackling issues that may arise in a busy Emergency Department. The personality that will excel in this role is dynamic and personable, able to professionally handle whatever may come their way.
The Nurse Manager Emergency Department position is located in a wonderful area of Pennsylvania, near the border of New York state.
