This opportunity will be targeted to Clinical Nurse Supervisors who are skilled in providing excellent care adapted to the individual patient needs based on the nursing process in the Orthopedic Surgery.
The Nurse Coordinator of Orthopedic Operating Room will be responsible for delegation and supervision of personnel which participate in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected treatment outcomes are met.
The Clinical RN Supervisor of Orthopedic Surgery will be responsible for coordinating patient care and nursing service activities consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. The Orthopedic Surgery Charge Nurse will supervise clinical staff and direct the professional nursing care for patients in Orthopedic Surgery.
The Nurse Supervisor of Orthopedic Surgery will plan and implement department staffing and scheduling to provide appropriate staffing levels and skills mix. The RN Supervisor of Orthopedic Surgery will demonstrate awareness of status of each operating room by making rounds and facilitating cases as needed
Reporting to the Perioperative Services Manager, the Nurse Supervisor of Orthopedic Surgery will assist in the overall management and leadership of the operating room especially in orthopedic surgery. The Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Supervisor will be responsible to investigate patient, family, physician and staff complaints and facilitates service recovery.
