JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in assembling electrical and mechanical components, to include sensor sub-assembly, and PCB board testing. Perform final QC of assembled components and prepare components for shipment. Provide customer service support for fielded equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Assist with the assembly of electrical and mechanical components, PCB board testing, and packaging and other related job duties as may be assigned.

* Provide assistance for customer service care with Airgas personnel and end use customers.

* Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems.

* Set up and operate standard or specialized testing equipment.

* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service.

* Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.

* Other job duties as may be assigned.

* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

* Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software.

* Knowledge of tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans

* Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* High school diploma / GED

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.

* Infrequent (10% of work time)

COMPUTER SKILLS:

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

COMMUNICATION and/or CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS:

* Ability to write routine business reports and business correspondence in English.

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
