This position may be filled at the Clinical Pharmacist or Clinical Pharmacist Senior level, based on the background and experience of the selected candidate.

Position is responsible for providing expertise in support of the AIM Specialty Health Specialty Pharmacy and Oncology solutions. Primary duties include participating as a key member and critical leader of the Oncology Program Clinical team responsible for the integrity of the clinical content of the AIM oncology-related programs. This includes development of AIM Pathways and implementation of health plan medical policies as well as functioning as a clinical resource to other business areas in the organization.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

* Serve as a key contributor for the AIM Oncology Program and related Specialty Pharmacy management

* Serve as a subject matter expert to support the oncology solution team, both internally to support operations and as related to client activities

* Manage oncology treatment regimen cost calculations; monitor and report on cost trends Monitor environment regarding potential changes in all oncology-related medications under management, including compendia support, Medicare requirements, cost data changes, and FDA labeled indications

* Assist the Oncology clinical leadership in operationalizing changes to Medical Policy and Coverage for Specialty Drugs

* Assist with the development of project plans, process documents, and communicating project status

* Drive the development and implementation of AIM's clinical scripts in alignment with AIM's organizational goals

* Participate on the research team involved in AIM treatment Pathway development and implementation

* Serve as a member of multidisciplinary teams involved in quality improvement initiatives Collaborate to monitor and maintain clinical accuracy and appropriateness for cross- client and cross-product consistency

* Understand and support efforts to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards

* Ensure successful content delivery and timely issue resolution

* Monitor and analyze script performance reports in support of Clinical activities and initiatives

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

* A current valid state license to practice pharmacy as an RPh

* Minimum of 3 years' related experience in specialty pharmacy management

* or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

* PharmD, preferred

* Previous experience with oncology and chemotherapy agents

* Be self-directed, highly motivated

* Previous experience in high-volume managed care operations (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing) desirable

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Willingness to participate in cross-functional teams with effective action mentality

* Strong knowledge of UM systems performance and production activities

* Crisp written and verbal skills

* Strong listening and interpersonal communication ability

* Excellent computer skills, including experience with Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

* Ability to relate well across all levels within the organization
