We are seeking candidates to join our engineering teams at our R&D center located in Syracuse, New York. Selected students will get exposure to:

* Hands-on experience in multiple engineering applications to include Compression, Materials Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded Software/Firmware Programs, Refrigeration Systems, Heat Transfer, and Acoustics and Indoor Air Quality.

Qualifications Basic knowledge of heat transfer and heat exchanger design, excellent computer / analytical skills, hands on and experimental facility design / operation experience, and good verbal and written communication skills are required. Familiarity with engineering development tools such as Matlab, EES, FEA, CFD and Pro-E are highly desirable. Modeling / analysis and high accuracy experimental facilities are heavily used within the heat transfer group to develop an understanding at the fundamental physics level as well as to reduce design cycle time. Manufacturing process development and qualification are an integral part of the heat transfer technology development programs.

Education The ideal candidate will be a sophomore or junior pursing a Bachelor`s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering with 0-3 years of similar co-op/intern or work experience. The candidate must have a 3.0 minimum GPA overall.
