Entry Level Electrician - Application Deadline March 12th @ 5:00 pm

Lucky Devil Electric is a small, St Petersburg based residential and commercial service electric company looking to hire an entry level electrician.  We are looking for someone who wants to learn every aspect of the electrical industry and grow with a successful company into a long-term commitment and upper management position. This will take several years. Experience is preferred, but not a necessity.  Much of our work is older home remodels, service changes, service calls, and some of it can be very difficult.  The correct candidate must:

• Have a valid Florida Driver's license with no major infractions or suspensions.
• Have a reliable vehicle. Some days you will be in a van, some days we will meet on-site.
• Have basic electrical hand tools. (Linesman, strippers, screwdrivers, level, razor, etc)
• Have exceptional patience, customer service, and a positive attitude every day.
• Be willing to attend a 4-year evening apprenticeship to obtain their Journeyman card
• Have the ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Be in good physical shape to fit into attics and other confined/ limited spaces.
• Not be claustrophobic- we work in attics, under houses, and other tight spaces very often
• Have the ability to work in dark, cramped locations, in heat exceeding 100*F, for several consecutive hours.
• Have the ability to work on tall ladders and roofs
• Have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. multiple times, from ground level to overhead
• Be willing to do every job, from cleaning a van to building a service.  We will train. 
• Background knowledge in Mike Holt and/or Dave Ramsey a plus
• Pay is based on experience, education, and performance, with raises available after the first 90 days
• Position is 35+ hours/ week.  Weekly pay.  Long-term benefits available. M-F
