As a Java Application Developer you will build effective tools and
infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems.  You will
work with developers and quality analysts to defined and develop new features
on the test automation framework as well as build other tools to support the
Quality Assurance teams.  Ultimately ensuring that testing is made more
efficient, streamlined, and robust overtime.

 

Primary
Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and use cases.  Propose solutions
to meet the requirementsCollaborate with others to accomplish project
tasksDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable,
and reliable Java codeEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and
responsiveness of the applicationsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to
these problemsWrite, modify, and debug software used in
applications and integrations with internal and third party applicationsHelp maintain code quality and organization Deliver code that is unit-tested, of high-quality,
reusable, and maintainableProvide technical assistance by responding to
inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about business
applications and/or technical softwareDetermine
accurate level of effort required and manages task schedules for assigned
projectsAnalyzes, defines and documents requirements for
data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems that are
internal or external

Requirements:Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or High School Diploma/ GED with 4+ years of JAVA Programming experience2+ year of Hands-on experience with Java 2+ years of writing complex database queries1+ years of scripting experienceSolid understanding of object-oriented programmingFamiliar with various design patternsExperience with writing reusable Java librariesFamiliarity with concepts of JDBCAbility to write clean, readable Java code  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven, or GradleExperience with continuous integrationPreferred Requirements:Experience with Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefits Management systems is a plusJAVA/  CertificationSelenium Automation Experience
