Overview and Qualifications:
Job Summary: The LMT safely and effectively carries out therapeutic massage services, such as Neuromuscular, Swedish, Cranio-sacral, Shiatsu, reflexology techniques, according to the American Massage Therapy Code of Conduct.
Required Education: Graduate of accredited School of Massage Therapy. Ongoing continuing education 24 hr/ per 2 yrs.
Preferred Education: None
Required License: Current North Carolina licensure in Massage and Body Work Therapy. Current CPR certification every two years
Preferred License: None
Required Experience: Has thorough knowledge and understanding of indications and contraindications of treatment techniques and modalities
