Aerotek and a Rapid City, SD healthcare partner are in search of 10+ Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 Patient Scheduling Specialists. The Patient Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for making outbound calls to Medicare patients to schedule in home health assessments on behalf of their health insurance provider. The Scheduling Specialist will act as a liaison between insurance carrier (i.e. Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Coventry, Aetna, Cigna, etc), third party health care provider (Aerotek's client) and Medicare patients to ensure that they take advantage of the free health assessment that is offered to them by their health insurance carrier and that all of the health information is entered in the proprietary system correctly for accurate medical reporting and coding purposes.

Skills Needed:

  • Prior call center experience required.
  • Prior call center or retail sales experience with performance metrics or quotas preferred.
  • Ability to place outbound calls to customers in order to offer the in-home health assessments provided through the health insurance company.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to read off of scripts provided for phone calls.
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology preferred.

Pay Structure:

$15.00-$18.00 per hour + bonuses (pay rate is based upon experience which is determined by the client after the interview).
